Whitefly: This insect causes discoloration of the foliage and secretes
the honeydew on which unsightly black sooty mold develops. All developmental
stages of whitefly are found on the lower surface of leaves. They consist
of spindle-shaped eggs, newly hatched yellow crawlers, sealed scale-like
larvae and pupae and snow-white winged adults.
