    Principles Of Integrated Pest Management

Integrated Pest Management begins with a better knowledge of the pest's life cycles. With this knowledge you can develop a scientific control system designed to meet your specific requirements.

To make this control system function properly, you must understand the important criteria:

    1. Break/interrupt the pests life cycle, (this is accomplished by preventing the newly hatched insects from reaching maturity and laying more eggs)
    2. Constant vigil for pests and their identification
    3. Understanding the life cycle of the pests and
    4. Recognize that high temperatures (80° - 85 ° and above) and, higher barometric pressure will shorten the life cycle of the pests. Refer to data on each insect for examples of variable life cycles and/or temperature variations.

Fulex Smokes provide a broad spectrum of control for many insects. A few of the most common are listed in the Insects Controlled pages.
